Education

Primary Education

We support schools and families with schooling essentials such as textbooks and stationary. Families registered in our food stability program are eligible to receive subsidies that allow children to attend school without hurting their economic situation.

Eligible members who have registered with our food stability program can make make an in-person request for education subsidies. The foundation’s Subsidy Committee will then evaluate whether a full subsidy or partial subsidy is applicable. Subsidies can vary according to individual requirements.

Undergradaute Education

We provide scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds for any undergraduate degree program. Scholarships are assessed on an individual basis and can be provided from one to four years for any undergraduate degree program taken within Pakistan or abroad. Applicants with higher academic results at secondary education are prioritised.

We have previously had an open policy to all eligible applicants however, due to increased demand we are currently only awarding full scholarships to registered members of our food stability programs. Partial Scholarships are still open to all eligible applicants, awards are assessed on an individual basis. Applicants not enrolled in out food stability program must provide notarised transcripts of their secondary school education and two references.

Graduate Education

Grants and Graduate Scholarships are awarded to applicants who are studying/training in one our three areas of focus: Education, Healthcare and Community work

We typically provide grants for: Disease Prevention, Sanitation, Healthcare, Promoting Education and Community Development. Applicants who wish to obtain a grant/scholarship that involves an area of study/training that we do not typically consider, may be evaluated on an individual basis.

Eligible applicants may receive one to four years of grants/scholarships depending on the individual application. Applications are assessed on an individual basis and grants/scholarships vary from person to person.

Applicants are required to submit: CV, transcripts, two references and a cover letter explaining their current line of work and how a grant/scholarship could help them.
